Emergency Medical Technician 和 Paramedic Career Paths
The majority of EMTs 和 paramedics work in metropolitan areas. Volunteer EMTs 和 paramedics are more common in small cities, towns, 和 rural areas. Paid EMTs 和 paramedics were employed in a number of industries.
- 45% worked as employees of ambulance services
- 29% worked in local government
- 20% worked in hospitals
